Drew Olson, QB - 49ers

49ers waived QB Drew Olson and claimed QB Kyle Wright off waivers from the Vikings. It's a little surprising that teams are intrigued with Wright, a former monster high school recruit who floundered at the University of Miami. Olson never had a chance to stick behind Alex Smith, Shaun Hill, and J.T. O'Sullivan. (Jul. 07, - 5:58 PM CDT)

Javon Walker, WR - Raiders

Las Vegas Police have made a second arrest in the June beating and robbery of Javon Walker. Arfat Fadel is already in custody. Deshawn Thomas, 40, is the second man charged with kidnapping, robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery with substantial bodily harm. Walker had his orbital bone and jaw broken in the beating. He also suffered a concussion and had $103,000 in items taken. (Jul. 08, - 2:28 PM CDT)
